    Libyan Optical Cable Acquisition

The Libyan Post, Telecommunications and Information Technology Company (LPTIC) has announced the launch of the 'Medusa' submarine cable project. LUIC joined the Medusa project in 2023, and undertook the cable's full landing in Libya that is anticipated to be completed by. Libya has formally integrated into the Medusa subsea cable system, marking a pivotal advancement in its telecommunications infrastructure. This 8,700-kilometre fibre-optic network, encompassing 24 fibre pairs and a capacity of 20 terabits per second per pair, is set to connect 11 countries across. Medusa Submarine Cable System is an 8,700 kilometers submarine fibre optic system connecting the Mediterranean Sea, the Atlantic and the Red Sea. The project consists of four stages, with the current focus on the first two phases.

Generation of Noise in Fiber Optic Communication

The noise in optical fiber communication systems is caused by a variety of factors, including optical amplifier noise, dispersion-induced noise, thermal noise, shot noise, interference noise, Raman scattering noise, and polarization-related noise. The physics of noise in optical communication links is of great interest in the design of fiber optic communication systems. We examine the importance of the FON term as well as the dependence of NLIN on modulation format with respect to li k-length and number of spans. Dispersion-Induced Noise: Dispersion is a phenomenon in optical fibers where different wavelengths of light travel.

The Nine Arch Bridge (Sinhala: ආරුක්කු නමයේ පාලම; Tamil: ஒன்பது வளைவுகள் பாலம்) also called the Bridge in the Sky, is a viaduct bridge in Sri Lanka and one of the best examples of colonial-era railway construction in the country. The bridge was designed to accommodate a challenging. Beyond the lush tea plantations and ancient ruins, Sri Lanka holds a different kind of marvel – its bridges. These aren't just structures connecting two points; they are testaments to engineering history, silent witnesses to eras past, and often, incredibly scenic viewpoints themselves. The fifth bridge is hidden from the public in a jungle area in the eastern province in Kayankerni between Oddamadavi and Vakare. Get to know more about me and my blog here.
